Ich habe bereits einen µ-QUASAR Laser und nutze diesen an einer DMX Relais Box zum gesteuerten Einschalten. Der µ-QUASAR speichert die letzte Einstellung. Ich nutze ihn meist für sphärische ruhige Momente in einer Show.
Der USB QUANTUM speichert seine Einstellung nicht. Er läuft immer in Auto Modus los. Die Rotation ist auf maximum, es blitzt und blikt und wechselt wild die Farben. Viel zu hektisch für meine Anwendung. Daher für den Zweck unbrauchbar. Ein weiterer Nachteil: Die Rotation wechselt ständig die Richtung. Bei langsamer Geschwindigkeit sieht man immer nur den gleichen kleinen Ausschnitt der Effekte. Eine permanente Rotation wie beim µ-QUASAR wäre viel sinnvoller.
Würden diese Punkte geändert, wäre das Gerät sehr gut.

The USB QUANTUM does not save its setting. It always starts in auto mode. The rotation is at maximum, it flashes and blinks and changes colors wildly. Far too busy for my application. Therefore useless for the purpose. Another disadvantage: the rotation constantly changes direction. At slow speeds, you only ever see the same small section of the effects. A permanent rotation as in the µ-QUASAR would make much more sense.
If these points were changed, the device would be very good.

The µ-QUASAR Laser and USB QUANTUM Laser or 2 different products with different features.
It is clearly written in the product description on our website and in the product manual that the USB QUANTUM Laser will always switch to 'auto-sound' when the unit is turned on.
This was a design choice. Some do prefer it switches to auto-sound instead of recalling the last show when turning the unit on.
If you want you can use the included remote to switch the programs, go to blackout-mode, ... and have more control.
